Transforming Identity

Still taken on mobile phone

Transforming Identity project that took place between 2010 and 2011 with 20 longstay care residents of Ennistymon Community Hospital. This project focused on twenty residents that were in continuing care in Ennistymon Community Hospital and day centre. This project was a response to the idea that everyone could really benefit from some creative experience and learn something new. Visual art themes and gardening topics from residents’ real experiences and interests to learn something new everyday were explored in shared creative exchanges. Mobile phones settings such as camera, audio and bluetooth were used as playful tools to communicate and share work. Supported by the HSE.
