In Ennistymon women and men were encouraged to summonses men in particular, in response to the lament in the poem and the experiences of A Midnight Court Workshops, where it was found that some men also experienced a shortage of men. The ambition of A Midnight Court Sitting Seven: Ennistymon, was to have more men than women. (The result in literal terms was a near balance; artistically men outnumbered the women when the masks were on!)
